CONCERT AT THE NORTH THEATRE: THE ELLIOTT FAMILY QUARTET The
Danville Chapter of Links, Inc. in association with the "historic" North
Theatre will bring a very special gift to the Danville region when The Elliott
Family String Quartet will perform at the North Theatre, located at 629 North
Main Street on Friday May 12 for two shows, one at 10:00AM and one at 7:30PM.
There will be no admission charged for this event and entry will be on a first
come first serve basis. The Elliott Family Quartett was the dream of Danielle
Weems-Elliott, an accomplished vilolinist, who teaches the acclaimed Suzuki method
of violin playing in the Newport News, Virginia region. With her husband, Garth
Elliott, who although not a musician, adds his touch to the family focus, Danielle
has given birth to three children and developed their skills at the strings from
an early age. The youngest, Sterling plays cello. The middle child, Justine, and
her first born sister, Brenda, play violin. Together with there mother they are
the Elliott Family String Quartet. "Two shows!," exclaims North
Theatre, Artistic Director Jerry Meadors, "And free!. If you don't leave
the TV and go to the theatre for this one, you might as well go on to glory."
